Surge events are limited-time opportunities whereby community members can earn 10x bonus points by registering, deploying, and connecting routers in designated Surge areas. Simply register a router in a place with Surge and start earning!
Even if you don’t live in a Surge area, you can still benefit by referring others who have routers in these areas.
We’ll be launching Surge events progressively across the world, so stay tuned by following Uplink on X, keeping an eye on announcements on our Discord server, and enabling push notifications in the Uplink App.
Once the Uplink network is live, Surge events will be driven by real-world connectivity needs from enterprises, partners, and other organizations. These events will help direct router deployments to high-demand areas, ensuring stronger and more reliable connectivity where it’s needed most.
Community members who deploy routers in Surge areas will receive financial incentives, which are funded by the enterprises and partners that require connectivity in these regions.
Right now, Surge is a simulation for when the Uplink network is live. Our early adopters are the first beta testers, earning rewards for their participation and helping us shape the future of decentralized connectivity.
