How to Earn Points on Uplink

You can earn points within the Uplink ecosystem in three ways: through network, referrals, and social missions.

Network Missions

You can participate in Network Missions on the Uplink App and Explorer.

  • Pre-registering Router(s): beta promotion for users who pre-registered their routers on the Explorer. The opportunity to earn pre-registration points will end with the Uplink App and activation of router registration.

  • Registering Router(s) - Using the Uplink App, validate a router to earn bonus points for registering (50k points!), then daily points as long as that router remains connected to the network and online!

  • Surge - Register, deploy, and connect routers in designated areas on the surge map to earn 10x the typical points during these periods. Surge locations will be determined by Uplink, our partners, and our community. Simply register a router in a surge location to start earning.

  • Mapping - [coming soon!] Add more Wi-Fi routers to the map and earn points - there are 3M+ verified Uplink routers (OpenRoaming) waiting to be mapped!

  • Scanning - [coming soon!] Earn points for by identifying coverage gaps and evaluating QoS of your Wi-Fi’s connection.

Referrals Missions

You can find your referral code on both the Uplink App and Portal.

Referral Commissions

You’ll earn a percentage (based on tier) of every point generated by your approved referrals, meaning they must register a router with the Uplink App.

  • Level 1 Referrals - direct referrals, earn 20%.

  • Level 2 Referrals - second-tier referrals, earn 10%.

  • Level 3 Referrals - third-tier referrals, earn 5%.

Referral Tier Bonuses

Referral tier bonuses are points you’ll earn based on milestones for approved referrals you bring into the network. For example, if you refer five people to the network, you’ll earn 50K points. If you refer 350, you can earn up to one million bonus points from referrals alone!

Social Missions

You can participate in social missions in the Portal. Make sure to link your social accounts first. Click the "verify" button after completing a social task to claim the points.

  • Connect your social accounts: Link your Discord and X accounts to the Uplink platform for instant points.

  • Social engagements: complete missions on X.

  • Partners and collaborations: follow and join our partners' socials and complete missions.
